Scot Haney Dancing for CRIS
Donation protected
WFSB meteorologist Scot Haney, a long-time supporter of CRIS Radio, once said “I will do anything for CRIS Radio except dance.”
This year, Scot is stepping completely out of his comfort zone to compete in our signature event, “Dining & Dancing in the Dark,” which features CRIS Radio’s own version of the TV show “Dancing with the Stars” and will be held at the Bond Ballroom on Saturday, April 29.
Scot is inviting the first ten people, who make a $1,000 donation through a Go-Fund-Me campaign to join him for dinner at the event and enjoy front row seating as he competes for the 2017 trophy.
“No donation is too big or too small,” said Scot, who encourages donations in any amount through the Go-Fund-Me campaign for those not able to attend the gala or contribute at the $1,000 level.
CRIS Radio brings words to life for children and adults who are blind or unable to read due to a print disability, such as dyslexia, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s and other physical, learning, intellectual and emotional disabilities.
