My name is Amanda Scott, and I am a sister-in-law to Skyler and Jamie Scott. This couple is without a doubt the most giving couple that I know, and so it is a special honor to be able to join with you in giving back to them. If you don't know them personally, here are a few things that can give you a sense of their goodness: they've taken in foster children, repeatedly volunteered their time and talents to build up young people in their community of Southern Utah, and have quietly given to friends and complete strangers alike throughout their marriage. Now is the time when all this goodness can come back to them-- let's flood this family with love and support during their time of need!

The Story
Skyler and Jamie married in 2004 and were overjoyed to bring their first son, Shayden (12), into the world in 2005. They then had some trouble adding to their family, but after a few years of trying welcomed  Landon (7) into their home. For the past 5 years, Skyler and Jamie have been hoping to have another baby. When they realized they would need some extra help, they sought out a fertility specialist who administered intra-uterine insemination with the help of fertility drugs. On the second round of treatment, they were thrilled to find out they were expecting.

When they went to Jamie's first ultrasound, their happiness grew to shock and wonder when they found out they were having not one or even two babies, but QUINTUPLETS-- five babies! They have learned to dream a new dream for their family and have truly embraced the actuality of adding these children to their family. Jamie has faced a challenging, high-risk pregnancy and has endured it all with astounding grace. Skyler is facing the new reality of being a provider for 5 more children and the big undertaking that it will be to care for these babies. In early January, they revealed that they are expecting 3 baby girls and 2 baby boys--exactly what they were hoping for!

How You Can Help
The Scotts moved from their home in St. George, Utah to Phoenix, Arizona to be near their high-order multiple specialist, Dr. John Elliot, who can give the best possible outcome for this pregnancy. They are thankful to have good medical coverage, but the cost of care for Jamie and these babies is still staggering. Skyler and Jamie have sought out every means of sustaining themselves financially, including taking out a second mortgage on their home, and they have now exhausted their resources.

The need to support this family gained urgency when Jamie's water broke on January 30th for Baby A, whom they have named Logan. This is, of course, cause for tremendous concern, and Jamie will remain in the hospital until the babies are delivered. All five of them are fighters and are holding strong, and the family knows that every day Jamie can keep them in her womb is a gift.  As of Feb 1  she is 22 weeks along, and we are all praying that the babies can have much more time to grow and develop. To sustain treatment for Jamie and the babies there will be unforeseen costs and a lot of essentials to round up to build this new life, including a large van. 100% of your donations will go toward these necessities.

Looking for other ways to help? Please pray for them! We believe in the power of collective prayer, and we believe in miracles. Your prayers mean the world to Skyler and Jamie! If you're unable to donate, please share this story to help spread the word.

For those who are asking about material donations,  we welcome your cards, gifts, and well wishes to the family's PO Box at
