Send a Child to School in Uniform

Growing up in Nigeria life wasn't the easiest for my family and I. A one bedroom apartment wasn't the most convenient for a family of four, despite all of our hardship my mother made sure we got an education! She couldn't afford to sew us uniforms every school year or buy us the latest edition of textbooks.
Growing up I was little (still am) so hand me down didn't work too well for me, I was teased and made fun of for my oversized, torn, and discolored uniforms which affected me academically, socially and emotionally. It is difficult to focus in class and join my pairs during recess because my appearance wasn't up to part and you do not have the proper school supplies.
I remember failing my Art class and getting the beating of my life simply because I did not have a coloring book, poster color, and a 2B pencil! I could never forget that day. I was humiliated in front of the class by my Fine Arts teacher everyone then knew how poor and unfortunate I was and since then I lost all interest in Art and almost gave up on education as a whole.
No child should ever have to go through such humiliation simply because they cannot afford the required school supplies. No child should be picked on during assembly because their uniform isn't the right size or isn't in the right shape simply because they only have one pair of uniform for the entire school year!
The goal is to provide at least two school uniforms and school supplies to at least 50 deserving students this upcoming 2018/2019 school year.
My ultimate goal is to help as many students as I can each year all over Nigeria and the continent of Africa.
Please join me in contributing to the change in the lives of underprivileged children in Lagos, Nigeria. every child deserves an education. Lets put a smile on the faces of our youth- one pupil at a time.
God bless you as you help fund this cause.
