Send CU Women's Polo to Nationals!

The story of the Columbia Women's Club Water Polo Team's 2016-17 season is one of resilience, persistence, and grit. At the beginning of the year, our team had one member -- our president, Amy. She made three seemingly unrealistic goals: recruit a completely new crop of players, help the team develop a family bond, and go to Nationals.
Here we are, nine months later. A family of 11 girls -- Amy, Ruthie, Electra, Maryann, Hannele, Delia, Stephanie, Clara, Nellie, Sarah and Sarah. We took our season by storm, winning our first tournament, taking 2nd in our second, and upsetting reigning champion NYU in a neck-to-neck game to win the New York Division State Championship title.
We are incredibly close to accomplishing our last goal, attending Nationals, but to do that, we need your help. We need as much financial support as we can get to help cover transportation costs to Pittsburgh. Without additional funds, we won't be able to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Whatever you can contribute, small or large, we are immensely grateful for. Our successes wouldn't be possible with people like you. Thank you for believing in us!
