Send England Amps To The World Cup
Donation protected
I’m running the St Ives 10k to fund the England Amputee Football Team to go to the World Cup in Mexico.
Since starting amputee football 4 years ago, I have met many inspirational individuals who have welcomed me to the incredible sport. This year I have been selected for the Provisional England Senior Squad to compete in Guadalajara, Mexico at the IAFF World Cup in October with international friendlies in Dublin, Ireland and Houston, USA before an invitational tournament in Warsaw, Poland.
Once the 13 man senior squad is selected in April, I will know if I am going to the World Cup and if I am unable make the cut then I will join the England Development Squad who travel to Athens, Greece and Inverclyde, Scotland for international matches.
Due to the absence of funding from the FA, the team, including volunteering coaches, must raise its own funds to train and compete on the international stage. Therefore, I am aiming to raise a total of £1000 for the charity the England Amputee Football Association (EAFA) which will cover travel and accomodation for international fixtures and training weekends.
I will be running a 10 k in July to raise funds for EAFA. I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me with this amazing opportunity for myself and the squad through sharing this page and donating any amount to the charity.
Thank you for taking your time to read this and I will ensure that I update this page and my social media accounts for updates and news on squad selection. Also check out and follow the England Amputee Football Association Facebook and Twitter pages as well as their website to follow our progress.
