Send Me to Serve at Lifesong for Orphans-Ukraine!

Mission trips are a necessity to communities of other countries where people are in great need. Volunteers are always needed to serve, but the cost of these trips prevent willing, dedicated, and skilled people from committing to the cause. I don't blame them. My heart longs to serve outside of what I know and see daily, but giving $3,000 of my teacher salary to work during my summer break makes me think twice (or more).
This year I could not pass up the opportunity to volunteer at a Lifesong Orphanage Camp in Ukraine. They are in desperate need of younger women to serve, especially those with a background in education. On July 5, I will fly to Kiev where I will stay at the orphanage until my returning flight on July 14. During this time I will tend to the children, assist staff members, teach, host VBS, and bring joy and purpose to the orphans!
The funds of my trip are almost covered. It is estimated that I still need between $500-$1,000 to cover transportation, translation, and food. This is where I need your help! If you feel compelled to give, please know that ANY amount makes a difference. I am absolutely thrilled to (finally) be following my passion to serving on a mission trip! Your donation will only be used to cover the remaining cost of the trip. Any additional funds will be given directly to the orphanage before leaving Kiev.
