I have qualified to go to the OCR world championship in England and compete against the best of the best from all over the world in a 15km "obstacle course". Think of it as a 15km run meets a mountain and a ninja warrior course! The OCR world championships will be broadcasted across multiple television networks!!
So many people believed in me to the point that I have started to believe in myself! I have lost 105lbs just by eating well and exercising. I have maintained the weight loss for almost a year now . All while working full time and having children.
I live with chronic pain and fatigue due to fibromyalgia. Most days I suffer from severe anxiety and depression holding it all in and dealing. I go through a strict regime to keep my body in check, it's almost a full time job trying to keep myself going but I want to live life and have found my passion. Who knew that there was an "athlete" inside me. I know most people can't understand why putting myself through torture helps, it's hard to explain (come sit down and have coffee with me if you want the details lol) but I am going to keep going. Other people motivate me because I seem to motivate them! It's a wonderful cycle.
I can represent small town Chatham and Canada against over 65 nations, as a plain old mom, a hospice nurse, a personal trainer, a fibro warrior and kick some ass.
