Send the Gold Dust Orphans to NYC!

Donation protected
This October… the Gold Dust Orphans are bringing the gayest Western spectacular ever conceived to NEW YORK CITY!  But it’ll take more than a stagecoach to get us there… we need your help!

For nearly thirty years Ryan Landry and his theatrical troupe, The Gold Dust Orphans, have been playing to packed houses in Boston and Provincetown, Massachusetts. The Orphans are known for taking their audiences on amazing, hallucinogenic trips through dozens of familiar themes - steeped in the tradition of classic film, time honored theatrical works and, of course, high camp pop-culture. Now, the Orphans rustle your favorite Westerns with the Yippee-I-Oh-So-Gay tale of BROKELAHOMO!

(scroll below to see where YOU come in)

THE STORY:
Brokelahomo is a town in trouble. Overrun by dirty, outlaw gays, the few law-abiding citizens left must spend their days dodging bullets, putting out church fires, and fearing for their pets’ lives. That is until a heterosexual is sent for... enter Dusty Rhodes, the unlikely hero of this far out fable set in the groovy 1860s! Will Dusty clean up the town? Or will the queer cattle rustlers and homo hoodlums head him off at the pass…

BOUND FOR NYC:
The Gold Dust Orphans are set to present BROKELAHOMO! at Theatre 80 St. Marks (80 St. Marks Place in the East Village of NYC), opening October 19th!

Since bringing our last show to New York, we are more than ready to embark to the big city once again, tackling any hurdle that comes our way. Through heartache and triumph, the Orphans are unmatched in knowing what it means to work together as a team and what it takes to make it happen!

HOWEVER, with the daunting expenses that make touring possible, we DESPERATELY need your support. From the costs of hauling our wigs, lights, costumes, props, sets, and vodka from Provincetown to NYC… to housing and compensation for our 20 creative team members... we truly cannot do this without YOU!

Over the span of almost 3 decades and 70 spectacular productions, YOU- our audience - keep us going! If one thing is for certain: no matter how high the hurdle or how tight the girdle, the Gold Dust Orphans NEVER stop working! AND The Gold Dust Orphans ALWAYS deliver.

With love and appreciation,

Xx
