Emergency supplies for Lismore

Lismore is devastated. The houses that haven't completely washed away are trashed by unprecedented floods. People have lost everything - personal items, tools of trade, livelihoods. The north coast is my second home so I'm heading up there from Melbourne probably Sat 4/Sun 5 March - basically as soon as roads are open - with a friend (and my freelance therapy dog) to help with the cleanup and bringing what I can carry. Donations will go towards cleaning necessities, tinned and dried goods, solar chargers, batteries and torches, basic medical stuff, shovels. I'll buy as much as I can any assistance is very welcome. ALSO! Anyone who is in a position to come along and bring what you can, particularly if you have a spacious vehicle to carry lots of stuff is very welcome. You'll need to be entirely self sufficient in terms of accommodation, food, water etc. Let me know if you reckon you can join in. Thanks folks x
