Mom with Cancer needs help to live

Gerson Institute
Imagine you have finished raising your children and are just getting use to having an empty nest. You then spend a few years being sick with one thing after another and with no idea what is really wrong with you. Then at the age of just 53 you learn you have Cancer, need aggressive treatment, have very limited medical coverage and time is not on your side.
This is the heartbreaking situation my friend Sheri Wheeler finds herself in. She has been diagnosed with - Metastatic Mucinous Adenocarcinoma (Colon Cancer).
I have started this fund in the hopes that Sheri can get some help with the expenses that will be needed to fight this unforgiving disease.
She is hoping to be able to spend the necessary amount of time she needs to at the Gerson Institute in Mexico, as soon as possible. Expenses have already been adding up, since she was diagnosed. Between testing, medications and supplements, appointments, various medical equipment, bills that keep coming, the use of credit cards for medical needs and lost wages, it is becoming very stressful. Her husband is doing all he can despite work being slow this time of year and trying his best to be there for Sheri in anyway possible.
One thing is sure, the last thing Sheri needs is to be thinking about how her medical needs will be met. All her energies should be going straight towards getting well and her focus should be on everything they will be teaching her at the Gerson Institute.
If you are able, please consider helping Sheri win this battle to save her life. Funds will be used to pay for her stays at the Gerson Institute, other complimentary treatments, a hospital bed, misc. medical needs and various items that will make Sheri more comfortable. Sheri will also need a certain amount of in-home skilled nursing assistance.
Sheri is coping with extreme pain and yet still keeps a wonderful attitude. She has always been there for her family and friends. She is that person you can tell anything to and she will make you feel understood. She spent years taking care of her husband and children to the best of her ability, like so many moms out there. She has never been one to ask for any help, put anyone out or want a lot of fancy things. She’s a real simple, good hearted woman, who now needs help to simply 'Live'.
If you can sympathize with what it must feel like to be facing a life threatening illness, if you have a wife and can’t imagine going through this as a husband, if you have kids and would hate for your children to ever have to be afraid of losing their mom at any age no matter how old they are, if you yourself have a loved one who has had Cancer or if you have lived through an illness yourself and understand better than anyone how scared Sheri must be, whatever the case, if you can sympathize and if you can help, however much or however little, I beg of you, Please help my best friend in this fight for her life... Please.
Thank You,
Myra
