Showing at the Royal Toronto Fair

Our daughter, who is impacted by FASD, was recently invited by the Grenville 4H Beef Club to show her cow Willa at Royal Fair in Toronto Nov 4-7, 2017.  At the regional fair in Metcalfe this past weekend, despite having the judge tell the crowd he placed her so low because she didn't know anything about her cow during the surprise interview in her first showing and having a bleeding finger while she was showing the second time, she  hung in there and finished fourth to earn her place.   However, she is now going to have to pay to have her cow transported to Toronto, take the train, stay for two nights, and have her support person who serves as her external brain do the same.  To reach this point, she finished first in the prelims, first in local fair, Grand Champion at the district fair, and now fourth at the regional fair.  The Royal Fair does post all sponsors at the front gate to the arena so if you would like to make a donation in your favorite organization, charity or person, it will be posted by the Grenville 4H Beef Club for the 300,000+ attendees to see.
