SHS Special Education Club
Donation protected
Hello everyone! We are part of a Stamford High School club called Friendly Faces. This club is run by general education students who aim to integrate their peers with special needs into the student body. We do this via various social activities.
Ever since the ban of bakesales at SHS, we have had no way to raise funds for our usual activities, which include things like accompanying the special needs students to school sporting events, arts productions, and outings to local establishments. We also utilized the funds we raised from bakesales for our bi-weekly after school programs which include art projects, cooking, and just socializing while playing board games or the Wii. Without the funding that used to come from bake sales, it is not possible to make these activities happen.
Friendly Faces has about 30 active members, all of whom would be devestated if the club could no longer meet due to a lack of funding for activities. Any amount you can spare would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance.
