Sierra Service Project Trip
Donation protected
Our teens will be going to San Diego from July 2nd-8th to work with Sierra Service Project in the City Heights neighborhood. Besides doing light construction projects in the City Heights area to help the less fortunate, students will also be serving with the San Diego Canyonlands on environmental preservation as well as taking a day trip to Tijuana, Mexico to visit Friendship Park and a transitional housing facility for deportees run by the Salvation Army.
Last year our teens helped to complete 14 projects for homeowners and local nonprofits and churches, including building1 brand new deck and 2 deck repairs, 1 large set of stairs, 1 floor replacement, 1 fence, 1 safety handrail, repainting a homeowner’s exterior as well as multiple painting projects at two churches.
Your donation will help send our students to participate in this life changing summer project!
