Since you won't be able to eat, drink or sing karaoke at the Silver Dollar for a while, it's time to pay it forward and donate to their Go Fund Me account!
Some of the things we don't often think about it when a business has a disaster like today are the employees. Give it some thought; If something happened to your office today will you still get paid? Some of us do, some don't. The owners and employees of the Silver Dollar will not! Not only will this tragedy impact the owners income it will also be devastating to the twenty-five employees! As residents of Collinsville most of you know these people. I know that because some of the first comments I saw on Facebook were concerns about the safety of the employees. It's time for us to be concerned about them and to take action to help them. Their paycheck stopped today! I'm still getting mine, are you?
We can't predict what will happen tomorrow but we can affect the things that happened today.  Many lives changed today even before they got to work! If you have ever worked in the service industry you will be some of the few who understand how important it is to have customers to wait on, Cook for, and clean up after. Right now is the time for us to help them go on with their lives! Some have already joined me by contributing and sharing my Facebook post.  Will you be the next to help?
