Shanta's Making a CD!!

Hi, I'm Shanta, sometimes referred to as "that sister with the sitar." Thus the title of my latest project, Sitarsys, weaving the sitar through some blues, jazz, and message music.  I recently received a grant to record a CD from Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE).  When my initial campaign goal of $3000 was met, I was able to pay a group of fantastic musicians and spend two days in the recording studio,  Next, there are numerous post production and manufacturing costs that the grant and donations will not completely cover.
So I've increased my goal, asking you to help me complete the best possible recording, which I hope will bring joy, inspiration, and healing to all who hear it.
In return, you'll receive the CD and my lifelong gratitude.
