Thank you for visiting my GoFundMe page! I am Saqera Jones and I am currently a sophomore at Howard University. I plan on graduating from Howard in May of 2019 as a Sociology and Adminstration of Justice double major. My experience here at Howard thus far has provided me with several new experiences and my next adventure awaits in Barcelona, Spain! Growing up in a family where the idea of global citizenship was important, I was more than eager to apply for a study abroad program and was fortunately accepted! While abroad I will be taking courses related to urban globalization, inequality, poverty and Spanish culture. I will be living with a host family and plan on fully immersing myself into the Spanish lifestyle. I can not wait to embark on this journey as I know that it will contribute to my development as a woman and help shape not only the rest of my time here at Howard but the rest of my life. I would very much appreciate your help in ensuring that Barcelona can become a dream come true! This money will be used for my airfare, home stay costs and program exurcisons while abroad.
