2015 DeLand Sr FFA Livestock Team

They did it again!!! DeLand Senior FFA is back to back Florida FFA State Livestock Judging champions!! I would like to take a moment and introduce you to the 2015 DeLand Sr. Livestock Judging Team: Michael, Jenna, Brianna and Trevor.

The team has earned their spot to compete at the FFA National Convention which is held in Louisville at the end of October. They have a very good chance of becoming the first National Winners from the State of Florida. If they should place in the top 5 they will have the opportunity to judge in Scotland.

But first…. we are trying to send this group to two collegiate livestock camps which are being held over the summer across the United States. These camps begin in early June and are such a great opportunity for these young adults to increase their knowledge in the livestock industry.  

We are also hoping to send them to another livestock competition which will be held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the first of October. The Keystone International Livestock Exposition will give the team an opportunity to evaluate and judge livestock again before heading to National Convention.  

This gofundme account is being set up by the parents of the State winning team in hopes of making our children’s dream a reality. We are asking for your help and support by donating to the team! Your donations will allow them to participate in these upcoming trips. Every dollar counts!
