sligo 1916 Committee

An Coiste Chontae Shligigh Comóradh 1916 (The County Sligo 1916 Centenary Committee) are a group of like-minded citizens dedicated to promoting the ideals of the 1916 Proclamation, along with the lives of its signatories and those involved in actions leading up to and around the Easter Rising.
We are raising money to help fund our programme of events planned for 2016.
Currently we are in the process of having a murial completed on Lower John Street, Sligo commemorating Easter 1916.
