The Palm Island Boxing team competes in Boxing Australia competitions throughout Queensland and Australia.
Boxers that have represented the team have been successful in winning state and national titles, and have also represented Australia in international competitions. The Palm Island Boxing team also offers the only form of structured sport that regularly trains and competes in competitions for the young people of Palm Island.
As the boxers live in a remote community, the costs of travel to participate in competitions is extremely high. In order for the boxers to compete the club annually has to raise between $15000-$20000.
By donating to this cause you will be assisting to make it possible for the Palm Island Boxers to compete in as many tournaments as possible.
