Hello everyone, my name is Amanda. I am the founder of Empower a Woman. One of our many dreams is to bring some joy into the lives of vulnerable and broken women. To make them SMILE.
I am raising funds on behalf of Empower a Woman (a non profit organisation) to enable us make over 400 Smile Gifts for Christmas this year.
A gift is a beautiful thing, yet for many women it is rare luxury. We have the unique opportunity to make Smile Gifts for 281 women in HMP Send and 150 other women in shelters and low income households this Christmas.
SMILE GIFTS is a free gift service to vulnerable women like women in refuge shelters fleeing domestic abuse and violence, women in prison, women rescued from human trafficking, women with little or no income, homeless women and much more.
We want to show these women that they are cared about and loved. We believe that we can truly make a difference in the lives of these women.
So far, we have put smiles on faces of women here in the UK and overseas but with your kind donations, we can do so much more and we want to do much more and exceed our expectations. In the last year, we have donated over 100 Smile Gifts.
A gift can communicate love without words and in this world where so many women are broken through abuse, poverty and homelessness, a simple gift makes a HUGE difference.
