SMOGA 94/96 Year Group Fund Raising
Donation protected
St. Mary’s Senior High School located in Korle-Gonno, Accra was founded by Servants of Holy Spirit SSpS (Catholic Missionary Sisters) on 6th February 1950. For over 68 years, St. Mary’s has been a strong pictogram of quality education for girls from diverse backgrounds, faiths and needs. It is therefore conventional to see past students of our school heading various institutions like the electoral commission, the judiciary and other organizations here in Ghana and the world at large.
Since its inception some few years back, every St. Mary’s Old Girls Association (SMOGA) year group that celebrates its 25th Anniversary after graduation embarks on a project to ‘give back’ to our Alma Mater and provide a solution to a particular challenge that the school is facing.
In recent years, the safety of the students has become a concern to both the school authorities and SMOGA due to the weak gates in some areas of the school. To keep up with the tradition, SMOGA 94/96 year group is committed to replacing the dining hall gates and renovate the driveways that service the assembly and dining hall areas.
Although members of this group have committed to make personal contributions to help raise our targeted goal of $16,000, we still recognize the need to solicit external support in order to meet our goal. To this end, we graciously ask for your donation towards our project to enable us improve the security condition in our school.
Thank you for your financial support and God bless.
