Living Ocean is a charity that promotes the awareness of human impact on the ocean through research, education, creative activity in the community and support of others who sustain ocean health and integrity.
Our whale research program builds on research that has been conducted off our coastline by our experts over many years and our Centre for Marine Studies enables students and others to become directly involved.
Through partnerships with individuals and organisations we conceive, create and coordinate campaigns that educate all layers of our community from our ‘No Plastic Please’ campaign, which is delivered in partnership with local schools, to film nights and lectures aimed at the wider community.

Living Ocean is launching a crowd fund so we can hire the Avalon Cinema to re screen Sonic Sea with an expert discussion panel.
We feel few are aware how the ocean here on the Northern Beaches and northward to Port Stephens is about to be blasted to bits next year with 3D seismic testing for gas wells etc...everyone needs a wake up call...and this movie delivers just that.

We require approx $1600 for the cinema hire fee and the balance for PR, speakers and hosting costs

We need to screen this asap as testing is planned for  early next year
