Help Sorry, Scout Make New Music!
For over a year, we have dedicated ourselves to greater awareness for positive social change within the St. Louis community through music. With Dave on bass, Nate on guitar, Randi on lead vocals and Zack on drums, we've wanted to build a powerful indie dynamic mixing punk rock and Americana as Sorry, Scout.
We are ready to jump back into the studio to create more music to share with YOU - our community!
The plan is this: six days of recording and one brand-new EP filled to the brim with previously unrecorded songs. We want to include both fan favorites we've played time and time again, along with new material never heard before.
You can help us and become a part of the process by donating anything you'd like!
Your help will go towards a downpayment for studio time, mixing, mastering, and duplication of our finished product. With even more recorded music under our belts, we want to continue our mission of providing great music, positive social change, and hope to you.

And now, some backstory:
Sorry, Scout started as a continuation of Kentucky Knife Fight's guitarist Nate Jone's side project - Cracked Ceilings. Up-and-coming St. Louis vocalist Randi Whitaker met Nate at a local open mic night and was immediately captured by his solo music. The two met up, and quickly realized their shared passions for music and progressive social change in St. Louis. By combining some of Nate's earlier Cracked Ceilings material with brand new writing, the two officially created Sorry, Scout.
Over the course of two years, Nate and Randi finally solidified their lineup through Dave Anson and Zack Schultz. Dave - originally a potential roommate - brought dynamic strength to the mix with his variations on classic bass tone, along with a keen ear to vocal harmony. Lastly, Zack joined little less than a year ago, and with him brought rhythmic structure and a sense of balanced musicality.
On August 31st, 2018, Sorry, Scout released their first EP - 'Never Asked For It'. It marks a significant milestone in their ongoing struggle to require positive social change and equal rights for oppressed populations in their community.
