On Monday, January 16, 2017, the River Roads Lutheran School Board informed us that if we are unable to raise $175,000 in the next 45 days, we will be forced to close our beloved school, a Beacon of Christ's love and light for 147 years in north St. Louis. This closure will devastate the children and families we serve in north St. Louis, as well as the 14 teachers and staff who have dedicated their lives to this community. In addition, we are one of only two Lutheran Christian schools remaining in the city of St. Louis. Over the years, we have educated generations of children who have gone on to serve their communities in high school, college and life.
