Sisters on the Runway: Penn State
Donation protected
Sisters on the Runway is a student-run national organization committed to the prevention and awareness of domestic violence.
SOTR was founded in 2005 by three high school students in Montclair, New Jersey. Since its foundation, Sisters on the Runway has spread its message to high schools and college campuses (UMASS Amherst, The New School, CRLS High School, etc), in New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts, raising over $80,000 to aid the fight against domestic violence.
In spring of 2019, Penn State will host it's fifth annual SOTR benefit fashion show; a fabulous evening of food, talent, and fashion. All proceeds from this event, and many more fundraisers leading up to the show, will go directly to The Centre County Women's Resource Center, which provides emergency shelter, transitional and supported housing, and youth prevention education to the State College community.
