Spanish language lessons for immigration advocate
Donation protected
My daughter Amelia has been working for an immigration law non-profit in Portland, Oregon to free the detainees wrongfully withheld at the Sheridan Federal Prison. They successfully had all detainees released, so she's worked herself out of a job. Now she wants to pursue a career in immigration law, fighting for the underprivileged, and is traveling to a language school in Guatemala to master Spanish.
This work truly is her passion: she recently graduated with a degree in International Development, previously received a State Department scholarship to live and study for a year in Turkey to build intercultural understanding, and has traveled and studied in the Palestinian Territories and Central America. Please help her continue the education she needs to serve the broader community. THANK YOU!
