Wisdom tooth removal/dental bills
[EDIT] I got the scan (CBCT) done at the University of Washington Radiology. I wasn't given the correct info, it's actually $1800 for the scan. I have raised the goal to 3k to cover that and the care credit bill. I've also posted and update.
Wisdom Teeth are severly impacted. (actually used my most recent panoramic x-ray as this fundraisers photo just so you can see this is true)
The roots of 3 of the 4 wisdom teeth are right next to the nerves. And no oral surgeon will operate and extract those teeth til a special CT scan is taken and that's anywhere from $300-$500. That Scan will show just how much space there is to work with between the roots and nerves. If they cut a nerve, i lose feeling in most of my face, so the scan is extremely important. Its called a CBCT scan.
I dont have very good dental coverage, i just get the basics covered but nothing more than that. With this fundraiser being successfull, i can finally get relief from these teeth that constantly push againt my other teeth and causes my gums to swell.
The sooner i can get this done the sooner i'll be able to get that surgery and after live without jaw problems and maybe even get my teeth straightened in the future. My teeth are so crowded and to just think that i could have a prettier smile in the future brings me hope.
If you are able to help, i'd really really appreciate it and be so relieved. Will add to the amount if i find out surgery isnt covered later on. Thank you in advance.
