Spencer Hollow School Restoration
Donation protected
The Spencer Hollow School was built in 1781 and served as a primary school through 1926 at which time it was left empty until 1931 when it was occupied by a social club, The Spencer Hollow Club, until about 1980. From that date it was abandoned , with much damage done by vandals done until 2007, when a group known as, The Friends of the Spencer Hollow School, took over and have restored the building to the point where about all thats left is restoring the plaster on the classroom walls "see illustration".
