Spook Stoppers - (Closed)

It all started with an idea:
Ghostbusters- if Charlie Chaplin had made it back in his time.
The idea came from a love of both the charm of silent comedies (Charlie Chaplin's in particular), and pop culture films/television.
My name is Kim Pelayo, I am a student at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida- and I am the writer and director of a silent film named "Spook Stoppers". As I ready myself to graduate- I would like my final production to be an homage to film's early days, as well as the types of stories I grew up with.
The funds will go towards improving our film's production value by allowing us to have as close to time period clothing as possible, steampunk elements for their equipment, a construction set and many other improvements for a better result- not to mention being able to feed our wonderful cast and crew!
We have planned to shoot in October of this year, and hope to reach our goal within a month.
This is a passion project that is being put together outside of class and out of pocket. I've been fortunate enough to have a crew that is putting in the effort in their personal time to come together and create something unique with me.
The video that accompanies this campaign is an homage to Chaplin's "How to Make Movies" and will serve as an example of just what it is we are planning for the film: the Tramp in 1920's era, black and white, silent, title cards, ragtime music, and an aged look.
We thought this best, so that you may know exactly
what it is you are helping to create.
We would really appreciate if you could help us by donating what you can spare or by sharing this on social media.
Thank you so much for all your support!
