Supplies & Uniforms for Haiti

Help us fill our suit cases and partner with us to bring adapted equipment to special needs orphans in Haiti!

Hey! I am Stefanie Boyce, writer, speaker, and most importantly, wife to Justin and mom to 3 beautiful kids, 2 of which have special needs. You can learn all about me on my website

For years, I have wanted to partner with organizations around the world that love and include children and their families touched by disability.  And in April*, I will be going to Haiti with a few friends to do just that. Northwest Haiti Christian Mission is a non-profit, Christian based organization that runs the Miriam Center , an orphanage and community outreach program that cares for the special needs population.  A few of us are headed down to provide respite, training, and support and we would like to pack our suitcases full of stuff we can leave behind.

This is where we need your help! Over the last 10 years, we have done our share of "adapting" everyday items to work for our kids, but in Haiti, they have to be even more creative. We wanted to bring down a few things that work for us, like adapted spoons, chewy tubes, luggage belts, and positioning items, etc. that will help the kids at the Miriam Center be more independant and increase their quality of life. Specifically, they have requested children's multivitamins, 13 gallon trash bags, diapers, or protein powder.

So how can you help? Every dollar you donate here will go directly to purchase items for the suitcases that we will bring down to Haiti!

Thank you in advance for your support, and you can get updates  here!

*UPDATE: Due to weather conditions in Atlanta back in April, Delta canceled our flight and we had to postpone our trip. We have rescheduled for November 9-16, 2017. Since we started this gofundme, another need arose: School Uniforms. School uniforms are a big deal in Haiti. They level the playing field and allow students to feel like, well, students. However, the students at the Miriam Center don't have even one uniform. That's where you come in. There are 34 students, so we are going to buy 34 uniforms! $20 will get a student one uniform: one polo shirt, one skirt/shorts.  Anything extra we raise we will purchase extras.

Let's give the gift of dignity and pride to these students through a school uniform!

Thank yoU!
