Launch Space WX+Ham Radio Channels
Donation protected
Since 1998, HFRadio.org and then SunSpotWatch.com have been providing the general public with space weather and radio propagation resources to the amateur radio, shortwave radio listening, commercial broadcasting, military, and other radio communicator groups.
These websites and related social media efforts and resources have been funded out of the private efforts of Tomas, amateur radio hobbyist, NW7US . For a number of years, Tomas has been learning and contemplating the addition of YouTube resources.
Now it is time to take this effort to a new level, by providing educational videos and other creative resources about space weather, the Sun-Earth connection, radio propagation, radio communications, and so on.
The funds that are collected in this campaign will be used both for new video equipment, computer hardware, and software, but also for some of the operating costs. (The cost of hosting for SunSpotWatch.com alone costs $1800 per year--which has been paid for out of the pocket of Tomas with software programming day-job income made by Tomas).
Your help in getting this new venture off the ground (two YouTube channels--one dedicated to space weather plus the propagation of radio waves via the ionosphere, and another channel dedicated to radio, especially shortwave and amateur radio) is appreciated.
