St Irene's Well
Donation protected
Kenya is in a crisis of drought. This is causing severe famine and death of cattle, crops, and human life.
Father Constantino Eluid and his wife Triza support 100 children each day through food, education, and spiritual growth. The children being cared for are orphans or in need of care to family crisis such as HIV/AIDS or other health related issues.
To allow self-sustainment, Father Constantino needs to build a well. This would allow for his corn crops, water for livestock, and for the children and families he provides for on a daily basis.
70% of our bodies are made up of water. Water is the essence of life. We need water to survive. Father and the children have been filling tubs when they can find a water source. Time is of the essence to help these children and their caregivers survive.
