Stacy's Rally Against Cancer!

Hi, my name is Terri and with a heavy heart, I'd like to share Stacy's story. Stacy and her family have been very dear friends of ours for over ten years. Our families were inseparable and our children grew up together. Stacy is 48 years old and has been happily married to her highschool sweetheart Mark since 1992 and they have two children, Taylor age 20 and Tiffany age 17.
Stacy is a Registered Nurse at providence Hospital in the Recovery and Pre-Opertative. Stacy has been an RN for over 20 years. Stacy is like a mother bird, she is very caring and compassionate for people and animals and she is always willing to go out of her way to help others in need. Now, it is our turn to repay the favor and show Stacy our support and help her fight the ugly C word!
Stacy has been suffering horrible headaches and tingling in her neck and arms, so in June 2016, she decided to go and get an MRI. Her results showed that she had a brain tumor the size of two lemons. The doctors immediately scheduled surgery to remove the tumor. At the time, the doctors thought it was benign and they thought the tumor has been growing for at least ten years, but after more testing, Stacy recieved the most dreadful news of all! Stacy was diagnosed with stage 4 "Glioblastoma Brain cancer" The worse cancer you can possibly get and it's extremly progressive with a 5% survival rate. How do you even process that kind of news?! Stacy has already gone thru Chemo and radiation and she will start back on chemotherapy at 4x the dose in mid September of this year.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, Stacy has to continue to work until she physically won't be able to. She will be missing a lot of work once her chemo starts and there will be a lot of out of pocket medical bills piling up. My wish for Stacy is, for her to have the opportunity to get the best possible cancer treatment available, so she is able to try and beat this and to not have to work during this most difficult time in her life! She should be able to enjoy her family and not have to stress about money.
This is so unfair! Stacy deserves a fighting chance! She needs to be here to watch her children graduate college, get married and have children. Stacy still has a lot to see and a lot to live for. Anyone that knows Stacy, knows how contagious she is. She's full laughs, she strong and courageous and even though she is one of the strongest women I know, I also know that she is scared. Who wouldn't be? Please add a prayer, good vibes, positive thoughts, anything at all to help Stacy and her family get through this. Thank you for reading, sharing and all donations!! I would really appreciate it if you can share her story. It truly means a lot to me and Stacy's family!
My heart breaks for her and her family and if I could do anything, anything at all, I can help her fight!! Please help Stacy!!
Thank You and God Bless!
