Round one endeavors are being completed as we speak; as the movement is as quick moving as the Cannonball River after a rain. Our weather has been overall better than normal, and we remain blessed. Winter camp preparations are still underway; and individual campers connected to the S4SR Funds are still "Under our umbrella," and are assisted by our funds in helping them meet minimum living expenses to live at the camps. We are so busy working and the focus has changed so much. Right now, we are working on some supplies to be used in peaceful protest. We cannot declare what the supplies are exactly, but all things can be purchased at a sporting goods store and are an exercise of our solidarity in peaceful example. Please come back in a couple of days, keep praying, keep believing, keep sharing, keep giving, keep helping, keep loving, and keep fighting with us! We CANNOT STAND without YOU! Help us STAND! THIS IS NOT OVER! ROUND ONE FINAL GOFUND UPDATE 11/4/16 Well, my friends, its time to end this particular fund. We have focused on (so far) 5 different things to put your hard earned and dedicated dollars to work... To all donors WOPILA! To all our repeat donors who stuck by our side through this whole fund WOPILA TANKA! You are all standing with us! We are putting your names on our donor tipi and on donor flags to fly at our Consulate as we speak! We have made so much impact together! From 1) Supply; to 2) Travel funds for water protectors; to 3) Winter Camp lodging, vehicles, and safety measures; then 4) assistance to campers and camp kitchens, building infrastructure, and bringing in new crew; to now 5) 1st hand assistance with action and events - including media coverage of the actions taking place! Please follow us on my blog at http://nativeamericancolombe.blogspot.com/ for pictures and updates... At present, we have a small gas/propane/personal camper expense fund in the transition to a more formal way of getting the campers who need it funds directly. We also have an active Amazon wish list for the camp at https://amzn.com/w/212HQ9MYY2WO which we will be updating soon. (Send us canoes! Paddles! Binoculars! Gas Masks! Seriously!) An address for the fund is PO Box 644, Mission, SD 57555. Please address to Lynne Colombe as cashing personal checks and money orders is tough. It is easiest to cash postal money orders. I can send receipts. Finally, I would like to do a little crowdfunding for 4 other allies in this fight against the BLACK SNAKE #NoDAPL "David & Goliath" Battle! 1st - We are graciously housed at the Sacred Stone Spirit Camp in Cannonball, ND. This is blessed and Tribal land and all made possible by wonderful, wonderful people. I really suggest helping their two funds! Sacred Stone Camper Assistance Fund (read) https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/d19fAf Sacred Stone Spirit Camp (General Camp Fund) https://www.gofundme.com/sacredstonecamp/donate Next, this fund is raising money for medical yurts for the front line warriors who are being mased and attacked by the police. Your GoFunds from our #Stand4StandingRock campaign will be contributing a $2,000 contribution directly to the yurt company on your behalf already! To help her more... Community Yurts for Oceti Sakowin https://www.gofundme.com/community-yurts-4-standing-rock Finally, with the battle on the front line and resulting other battles after, you can really help these guys out too! Red Warrior Camp Fund https://www.generosity.com/fundraising/red-warrior-camp-legal-fund-nodapl With much love and respect, I submit this final update via the GoFunds. After I close this fundraiser, I will start another but want those funds to be more camper-direct and assist the ground directly as most of the infrastructure needed will be complete soon. Please, again, keep watching our updates as them will begin to be posted early next week on my blog! PILMAYE! WOPILA! We are in this together in the fight for Mni Wiconi & Unci Maka! Photos courtesy of S4SR Water Akicita "Misun" & the pics of the donor tipi. An email list is also being built to send updates to. Please keep us in your prayers; as you are always in ours. BREAKING NEWS! Our own S4SR Vana Dee #WORTHY was one of 80-100+ peaceful water protectors arrested yesterday. She may have been a target because of her experience and training in non-aggressive protesting. She is from the Tohono O'odham Nation in Arizona. She is an integral part of our camp and works hard; is a leader at the 2nd largest Standing Rock camp that we are blessed to be apart of. Please share our link! I am working with her mother to find out which jail she has been sent to; as we hear those arrested may be housed as far as Fargo, ND. Bond money will be put up if the main camp legal fund does not or cannot get her out. We are waiting to hear more information, but Morton County is very SLOW and DELIBERATE about not giving out vital information (even to her mother). Thank you so much for your donations! Wopila Tanka! Apologies to any donors who went a couple days without our response; we have been flooded with winterization duties, painting projects, traveling, and ACTIVISM! Please read the article about the arrests here and SHARE our link! Pilamaye! 3 out of 4 of our tipis are up in our camp! You are Standing With Us and We could not STAND without YOU! http://www.kfyrtv.com/content/news/Red-Warrior-Camp-protesters-compare-Morton-Co-action-to-Wounded-Knee-398044341.html STAND4STANDING ROCK (S4SR) GoFundMe began as a simple request for supplies for the Stand With Standing Rock Movement that sprung into complete worldwide action in August 2016. As the movement changed, so did the actions and focus of the S4SR GoFundMe! We are currently transitioning from our summer/fall camp and entering into our WINTER CAMP PHASES! A full 30 Day Synopsis Report is available upon request via email. You can email using the link on the page. THANK YOU! Keep Sharing!
CURRENT FUND UPDATE 9/26/16: Good Evening! I have been following through with donors via email. I apologize for the time it has taken to reach each and every one of you personally(who have emailed). It has finally “slowed down” for a few days while waiting for the arrival of our three (3) new tipis and three (3) new sets of poles! Again, I would really like to THANK each and every one of you for your contribution toward the community services and direct assistance provided to the many indigenous peoples, water protectors, prayer warriors, & front line warriors on the grounds of the #NoDAPL Movement; and for your direct support of the Stand4StandingRock (S4SR) GoFundMe. Available to donors via email, donors may now request a “30 Day Synopsis” of the S4SR GoFunds; and an unofficial report of Fund Activities in the following categories: Beneficiaries, Projects, Winter Camp Planning & Purchases, Winter Camp Preparation, Status of Funding and Need. GREAT NEWS! Tipi liners will be complete this week, and our 3 tipi covers are now complete and ready to pick up or mail. The tipi poles will be coming from Crow Agency Montana to Standing Rock on October 2, 2016. We will begin to do a traditional trench digging and set our poles. Students from a University in Minnesota, will arrive the second weekend of October to help set the third tipi and to help do manual labor around camp. At this time, the students will also lead a peaceful demonstration at the Main Camp. Students will stay at the GoFunds camp at this time and interact with tribally-connected students who are not currently in college; in a collaboration to put up the new tipis and to raise the flag on the donor tipi. The 20 foot tipi is really going to be special! Time is going to be taken to paint the tipi in a pattern after a dream that I had years ago; and donor names will be on the outside! Anonymous donors will have a special acknowledgment on the tipi as well. Written words for water protectors and Native peoples and their friends will be written on the inside of the tipi, so that all can read the well wishes in the upcoming cold months! THANK YOU! WOPILA! PILAMAYE DONORS! I don’t want to make this NEW DESCRIPTION too long, but I just wanted to do my best to UPDATE you all. Thank you again, for your patience! We work hard here, but are a skeleton crew of sorts (but it keeps costs down). Prayers for you all, for your families, and again, we appreciate your sacrifices to help us here at S4SR. Your funds have helped to build a community that fluctuates between 15-40 people at any given time, and sometimes more. We help everyone around us, as many camps as we can, and help individuals who find themselves in tough situations. We are very committed to helping a few individuals in the “Main Camps” as well who have been involved in the movement for over 200 days. We are still accepting donations for furnishings and for cold weather items.
