Please stand with us in supporting our beautiful boy Jimmie, his Mammy and Daddy.

After years of waiting, our miracle Jimmie arrived, we were all overjoyed…

Shortly after his 3rd birthday cancer walked into our lives…. The helplessness is crippling. To say as a family our lives have been turned upside down, is an understatement, none more than Jimmie and his mammy, daddy and soon to arrive sibling…(due in 2 weeks)

Jimmie was diagnosed in March this year with a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma, this affects the soft tissue of the body. Jimmie has a very large tumour at the base of his skull. This tumour is in a very complex area and is extremely difficult to treat. He has undergone many rounds of chemotherapy with many more to follow. To see our beautiful boy being so sick and suffering so many horrific side effects is heart-breaking, not to mention watching Louise and David.

Jimmie needs to receive radiation therapy in the Netherlands or Germany, location to be confirmed this week and this is where we need your help. The HSE will cover the cost of medical care but will not cover the relocation cost of Jimmie and his family. Jimmie requires around the clock care and his parents have been unable to leave his bedside since his diagnosis. We would love to be able to relieve them of their financial burden on this difficult journey.

Jimmie is a caring, gentle, fun-loving, clever little boy… who makes us laugh all the time and loves to use the cheeky middle finger, along with a signature dance move, known as the “Jimmie shimmy”, he is a very special little character.

For anyone who has already contributed to this cause to date we are extremely grateful and cannot thank you enough.
