Laid-Off at Christmas time

My name is Jacquolynne Moore. I was recently laid-off by my employer, yes it's 'cliche', I know, and right before the holidays too. 

I am married to a wonderful man and have a soon to be 5 year old son, and they are the world to me. Loosing my job, is going to impact us really hard. I am doing all that I can to find another one soon, but I fear I may not find one soon enough. 

We live in Northern Georgia, moved here from Alabama last year, for the job that ended up laying me off. I loved my job, but the company has to do what is best for the business, so at least that I understand, although this decision in my opinion was poorly timed on their part.

My field is in CAD Drafting/Design Engineering, and my hope is to find another fulfilling position very soon to continue down my career path for the long term. I don't know how long it will take, and I don't know how long we can stay afloat on unemployment and my husbands job alone, since loosing my primary income.

I pray that God will shine his light down a new and better path for me and my family soon. God bless.
