Stay Strong Alex

Donation protected
We need prayers, positive thoughts and people to come together for Alex. Sunday night (Feb 11, 2018) he was shot during a robbery in the East Bay, and has remained in critical condition. Despite severe trauma, we know Alex, and we know that he is fighting on and any thoughts of love and encouragement will be welcomes.

Alex is a Marin County native from the North Bay and loves the community he is from. He volunteers at his church, raises guide dogs, and is an Eagle Scout. His wife and high school sweetheart work and live in Marin as does his brother, father and mother. He is a kind soul who enjoys giving back in so many ways. All of your support and kind words is evidence to his aforementioned personality and generosity.
-------
The Funds--Alex's condition is touch and go; while there is hope for recovery, there is a LONG road ahead. Months of hospital beds, transferring and if all goes well months of recovery. The funds collected will go towards helping the family cope with Alex's ever-changing condition while he, his wife, and family put their lives on hold to be with him.  It is difficult to predict how we will need to use the money. Should anything happen that leaves us with additional funding than necessary, the money will be redirected to supporting other victims of violent crimes. Alex is a kind hearted person who raises money for children with life-debilitating diseases; you can trust that any and all contributions will be made to help his work and support his giving personality.

The Situation (Feb 14; Noon)
Alex is fighting for his life, Days 2-4 for massive brain trauma are the hardest. Pressure is stable but stimulation is consequential so we try to keep him as relaxed as possible. He is young, strong and with the community's support he has been challenging congenital expectations left and right. Thank you for all you have done so far to keep OUR spirits and transferable HIS up.

Alex always wanted to go off-roading and he finally got his chance in Alaska with his Godparents and brother last summer.
