PLEASE HELP REPLACE STOLEN EQUIPMENT!
If you are a musician, or a music fan, you know that it takes a whole lot of talent, passion, hard work and dedication to make music! This band is facing an unforeseen challenge and needs your help!
The Santa Cruz-based band, Stellar Corpses, had tens of thousands of dollars of equipment STOLEN last night, while they are on a 2-week tour in the US. Their equipment trailer was broken into while they were on the road. Their upright bass, guitars, drums, etc. -- all things they’ve had since they were teenagers -- GONE! While we can’t replace the sentimental value of these items, we CAN help them replace their equipment!
I discovered Stellar Corpses 2 years ago at 924 Gilman in Berkeley. They are a high-energy band with immense talent, that has been playing together for 10+ years. Not only are they insanely talented, but they are also extremely humble and kind: On my birthday, Emilio (the guitarist) painted a signed drumhead for me as a gift. At their concerts, they are very approachable and always take time to talk to fans, take photos, and show appreciation. To learn more about the band, go here: http://www.stellarcorpses.com/bio/. Come see them at their next show.
The theft was a setback, but YOUR support can help them replace their stolen equipment and have a smooth tour! Please donate what you can to help out; all donations go directly to the band.

Here’s a message from the band:
Our band equipment was stolen from our trailer last night. Our van/trailer was parked in front of our friend's house in San Antonio, TX. Thousands of dollars worth of musical instruments gone.
We're not even halfway through our tour with @argylegoolsby And the roving midnight who drove out from the east coast and we're sharing our equipment.
Upright Bass, drums, guitars, amps, wireless kits, totaling well over $10,000 although to us these items are priceless. We'll post a list soon of the exact items in case anyways sees them. We just filed a police report and we're waiting on security camera footage from a neighbor.
Not sure what we're going to do at this point. Just letting you all know what happened.
Much Love,
Stellar Corpses
