Stephanie's College Support Fund

Hello, my name is Stephanie Gills. I attend Seton Hall University located in South Orange, New Jersey. I am a double major, studying International Diplomacy and Relations and Modern Languages. At Seton Hall, I have maintained a 3.6 cumulative grade point average, along with maintaining a solid spot on this fall and spring’s Dean’s list. I am in a five year in which I will graduate with a Master's degree. I am a Diplomacy Ambassador at Seton Hall with plans of joining Student Government.  I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, where I attended Edna Karr High School. There I maintained a 4.0 weighted grade point average. I graduated with honors holding the fifth spot in my graduating class. While maintaining stellar grades in high school, I held two jobs; I was Senior Class President, a Student Ambassador, and Football Team Manager.

 I come from a single parent home where my mother takes on the expenses of putting my sister and I through college and my little brother through high school. My mother, an active duty Navy veteran who has been deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan and Djibouti, Africa, is my biggest support system. She pushes me to achieve my goals of stopping mass rape in Sierra Leone, human trafficking and female circumcision.

Of the five thousand, two thousand will go towards last Spring’s outstanding balance which prevents me from registering for fall semester classes. The remaining three thousand will go towards this Fall semester’s balance. ANYTHING helps. Thank you in advance for the support and keep me in your prayers.
