Steve Verschoor anthem dog rescue
Donation protected
My dad is the anthem "dog hero" in the mists of saving the dog he sustained multiple injuries including lacerations on both arms and a broken hand my dad is a bartender who work for and lives off of tips and will be out of work for a while on top of lots of medical bills
the cat confirmed to have rabies and so he is going to be going through more treatment for that and severe viral infections as well. (Which is why the goal is higher as recovery will be more expensive and longer)
we had a hard time finding a doctor to administer the shots that have to be done every four days and will be going to the ER for each one making it more costly.
my dad is a "fur baby" lover we have two rescues (one three leggeded) at home and he has always said you need to stand up for those you can't for themselves.
So that morning when he saw a dog getting attacked by a bob cat he had to be dumb and heroic and step in. He says if the roles were flipped and it was one of our dogs he would want someone to step in as well to help.
My sister Katlin Nicole and I have been raised by dad that animals are apart of the family and you wouldn't turn your head if a child was getting attacked so why turn your head for an animal.
Being in Oregon away from my dad has been hard enough and not being by his side now is even harder. My dad would never ask for help which is why I am doing what I can to make sure he's okay. He's my best friend and I just want to see him healthy again and not worry about medical expenses and focus on getting better.
Please pray, send your good vibes, and positive thoughts that he recovers quick!
Any donation helps at the very least send prayers.
Thank you any remaining proceeds will go to a local animal rescue.
