Steve's Recovery From Leukemia

Donation protected
I am raising money for my boyfriend,  Steve (27), as he recovers from an Allogeneic stem cell transplant resulting from a rare form of leukemia.

In early Jan 2018, he developed several painful lumps on the side of his neck. By February he had been diagnosed with Mixed Phenotype Acute Leukemia (MPAL) and was scheduled to undergo three weeks of aggressive chemotherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC. This is considered a very rare and difficult-to-treat cancer- comprising less than 2-3% of all diagnosed leukemias.
After an additional week-long round of chemo & 2x/day radiation treatments, he received an Allogeneic Stem Cell transplant on April 20th. He spent five weeks recovering in an isolation room before he was finally released in late May.
We are taking the recovery process one day at a time and trying to resume a somewhat normal life.  He still has 3 to 4 weekly doctors visits where he receives treatments, fluids, & blood and/or platelet transfusions. This fundraiser will alleviate the high costs of his prescriptions and ongoing treatments.
Please consider making a donation of any size, it would mean so much to Steve and give him some comfort during this grueling battle.

Thank You.
Steve,  Aneta & Grizzly.
