Steve Brownell Stroke Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,This is one of the hardest things we have ever had to do, but we are asking for your help. As some of you already know, Steve Brownell (Loving Husband, Dad, Papa, Brother & Friend) had a stroke on Tuesday, October 18 . The stroke was on the right side of his brain resulting in loss of function on his left side ,and limited vision in his left eye. He spent 12 days in the Tahlequah City hospital, 8 of them in rehab, and was released October 29th: but had to return the following day due to complications with medication and internal bleeding. We are at the very beginning of his very long road to recovery. We find ourselves in a financial crisis, with unreliable transportation, also the cost of this long term injury is likely be extensive. Already, there are mounting emergency medical bills coming in, and then there will be bills for long term care. There will also be costs associated with making our home suitable for the special needs of a survivor of stroke, including rehabilitation equipment. Needless to say, we are all very scared and overwhelmed. This unexpected event has changed our lives forever. We are so grateful for the continued prayers, concerns, and support from all over the world for this wonderful, loving, strong man and our Family.Anything you can contribute is appreciated .. nothing is too small. We are so grateful. Please continue to pray for us in this time of need. We love him so much, and we will continue to fight by his side, as he begins this recovery process, assess what he can realistically do, and give him the best chance to return to a happy and functional life. With love, and gratitude -From our Family xo
