Steven Anderson Cancer Treatment

Hello, my name is Steven Anderson and I am a Mass Communication major at Texas A&M University going into my junior year set to graduate in May of 2020 (A-A-A WHOOP!), but all that changed when I went to the doctor to check on some pains I thought might have been kidney stones. I was diagnosed with Renal Medullary Carcinoma after a few tests and have been forced to take hiatus from school in order to tend to my health. Renal Medullary Carcinoma is one of the rarest forms of cancer and I never thought I would be here at 20 years old. I am asking for funding to help pay for my chemotherapy treatment and the expenses related to fighting this form of cancer. If one can not give, it would be a blessing to just have this distributed or shared. I am hoping that once I can defeat cancer, I may return to Texas A&M to graduate and finish my degree. Before I took hiatus from Texas A&M, I became a brother in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, and also was former Vice President of Texas A&M's chapter of NAACP. I also was rewarded for spoken word pieces I presented at a few of the university's diversity events. I say all this to say, being an active student on campus was a large part of my life I have had to neglect to the trials of my health and I really would benefit from support in financial aspects as well as prayer. I am thankful for those who are helping me and wish everyone blessings. Thank You.
