Steve's Fight To Live

Hi my name Noreen, Steve's Wife. When we found out that Steve had liver cancer 2 years ago it was a shock but we took it in stride and researched as much information as we could. Steve immediately started eating healthier and taking a lot of herbal supplements. We firmly believe this has helped get him this far. We were told he only had a year to live after the chemo-ablations. During this time Steve continued to run his business and take care of us all while under going various chemotherapies.    The Chemotherapies are no longer effective so we feel that barring his being accepted into a trial, his last, best chance is to go to this Clinic in Mexico that we were referred to by my sister. Steve and I work full time but the medical bills are starting to mount up now. Steve is a loving, strong, caring husband and father and we need him in our lives! I need your help and support. Please give what you can so I can send him to Mexico to get treatment.   Here is Steves story below:  Steve's Story: Keep the coffee brewing by helping me fight my cancer! Hi, I'm Steve and I have a passion for great coffee. From seed to cup, I roast, train Baristas, work with brewing and espresso equipment, work at origin with coffee producers to improve quality and purchase directly to improve the quality of life for the growers who give us this wonderful beverage. Right now I am helping develop a coffeeshop/restaurant that caters to the youth soccer asscociation in Sacramento, Ca. Needless to say, I am an active individual, about to celebrate my 30th anniversary with my beautiful, talented wife and I have two amazing kids, my daughter is a talented artist and my son is working with me in the speciality coffee business and they all still need me around. I was diagnosed with Liver cancer a little over 2 years ago. I was fortunate that it was caught early and I thought that due to my overall good health I would be able to fight it...which I have been but now I need your help. I am not a candidate for a transplant due to the fact that the tumors are in both lobes so I'm left with basically chemotherapy as a treatment and I don't support what that does to your immune system and its not working so I am working on getting into  clinical trials (but my Albumin is just a little to low) The western Dr's have essentially written me off so I am doing high dose vitamin C IV infusions along with changes to my diet and a regimin of naturopathic treatments. There is a cancer treatment center that was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. It's The Sonoviv CTC in Rosarito, Mexico. They work with you to tailor a treatment specifically to meet your needs, from your clothing, to diet along with various therapies. They offer 1,2 and 3 week programs. I am also trying to get into trials that fight cancer with your immune system. These are at Memorial Sloan Kettering and San Francisco. With the aid of a Navigator we are looking for more studies as well. I am seeking 30,000.00 funding for my treatment and travel expenses and for other accummulating medical bills. I'm told by my doctors that the worst case scenario is that without treatment I could be gone in 6 months. So time is an issue and I want to begin treatment as soon as I can.
