Noir Gala 2016

Donation protected
Hello!  My name is Michael Henry and I am a 17 year old African American male who attends Evanston Township as a junior. Recenlty our Ebony Ball was canceled  due to insufficent funding, but I along with several other ETHS students are making a stand. This is our dance and the seniors' last chance for their high school ball.

Hearing the disapointment of our fellow peers, I created a committee with many close-knit friends, allowing many others to join in along the way. We are strength in numbers. The more the better.
Our GOAL is to raise enough money to host our Noir Gala at a Skokie or Evanston ballroom.
We are enthusiastic about fundraising and thinking of creative ways to raise money, but we are also  hopeful for the support of our community.
The origianl dance was to take place in Feburary but we are optimistic that with your donations and our hard work we can raise 9,000 by mid-March.
The money raised for this Go FundMe will be used to pay for our Ball room, food, and decorations.
If you are  not able to make a donation, please feel free to suggest new ways we can fundraise our event. We need your support and we want to hear your voice!
Thank you so much in advance to all donaters. We will owe this night to you and your generosity!
