Stolen Scouts Equipment
Donation protected
We are Pack 25. A local youth non-profit organization that goes out into the community doing a variety of services. We help turn our youth of America into successful leaders of the future.
On November 11, our trailer was stolen with all of our equipment inside of it. It was loaded ready to go for a Veteran's Day weekend campout. The scouts were looking forward to putting on a flag ceremony for many local veterans as well as scouting activities that build and strengthen their character.
We are doing this campaign to help with the costs of replacing the trailer along with all the equipment that was inside of it. This equipment was all purchased with many years of fundraising efforts from hundreds of local boys ranging from 6 to 11 years of age.
We had to cancel the campout planned for this weekend, and all future campouts until we can replace our equipment. We are a very large and activie pack, so this is devestating and has affected over 100 families.
We are hoping to raising enough money by the end of the year for our next scheduled event.
Getting these donations will mean so much to our pack because for some of our boys, this is the only opportunity for them to experiece these activities.
We can not put into words, how thankful these boys will be.
