"Resilience for Ri" Initiative

Donation protected
On March 19th, 2019 the Ryerson women's soccer team will be hosting their second annual "Resilience for Ri" 4vs4 futsal tournament at Ryerson University, open to Ryerson students.

“Resilience for Ri” was created in honour of a former women’s soccer recruit who had passed away. In celebration of her life, in honour of her memory and in support of raising mental health awareness, specifically that of student-athletes, we are raising money for SAMHI (Student-Athlete Mental Health Initiative).

This is an important initiative to us because mental health has been a rising issues and we all know student-athletes who have struggled and continue to struggle with mental health. We feel it is important to keep the conversation going and help provide resources to help those who need support.

This donation page is a way we can reach out to family and friends to help us reach our fundraising goal. Any monetary donation is appreciated!

All donations will be going to the Student Athlete Mental Health Initiative (SAMHI). To find out more about the organization click here: Student Athlete Mental Health Initiative (SAMHI)
