Silent Disco ( Student Minds UK)
Donation protected
As part of a project we have are raising funds for Student Minds UK by organising a Silent Disco in which all proceeds from ticket sales would go to the organisation.
We decided on Student Minds UK because of the stigma surrounding mental illness when it is so evident especially in a University context. We want to dedicate the disco to having fun, forgetting deadlines/exams for an evening and just experiencing something a lil different.
Due to the various costs related to the successful execution of an event of such capacity i.e venue, security etc. We have made this GoFund me account to raise a bit of money. Any extra money which does not go into the planning of the event would go to directly to Student Minds UK.
More information about Student Minds: Student Minds is the UK's student mental health charity. We empower students and members of the university community to look after their own mental health, support others and create change. Together we will transform the state of student mental health so that all in higher education can thrive.
