Summer Faith's Journey

Summer Faith was born a little bit early (3 weeks) and has been a fighter since the beginning, she knew what she was doing when she came into the world since her cord was around her neck. She is now facing some medical issues and mom and dad can use a little bit of help.

Summer appeared to be a bit jaundice but it's more than that, her liver is not functioning properly and she has a teeny tiny gallbladder, they believe she has been diagnosed with a rare liver disease called Bilary Atresia.  Due to this she has been at John R. Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo and was transferred to Pittsburgh Children's Hospital on September 18 where she will undergo the Kasai procedure. It's not a 100% guarantee and she could end up needing a transplant anyways.

We're asking for a little help for this hard working family, with the added expenses of traveling back and forth to now Pittsburgh finances will be tight. Not only are mom and dad worried about Summer but she also has 2 older brothers and an older sister at home. In the next few days Summer will have to undergo surgery. This little peanut has been a fighter since she was born and I know she will continue to fight.
