SunCrest Lifestyle High Five
Donation protected
Let’s say thanks to our incredible snow plow crew!
This year's snowfall has been remarkable and definitely one for the record books. We couldn't stop thinking about how hard Draper City staff has been working to help keep our roads clear. Holidays, late nights, early mornings, and what probably feels like running on empty at times to help keep us safer, we want to help give them a little "High Five" for going above and beyond their call of duty, especially this year. But how can we do that as a community? We got in touch with the Draper City Public Works department, and after talking it over, we think we're onto something good.
Introducing the SunCrest Lifestyle High Five, a way to thank our local snow plow drivers. For anyone who wants to participate, give the plow crew a $5 donation (get it, high 5?) and we'll put it towards a catered meal for the Public Works staff. You’re welcome to give more, of course. We'll take that meal to the department on Tuesday, February 21st. Then, any leftover donated funds will be used to purchase "grab-n-go" snack items they will carry in their plows to help keep them energized, hydrated, and full when they're out pushing snow. We'll track donor names and present a "Thank You" banner with each of your names on it.
(Just a note: We’re going to cover the fees involved in using a fundraising site, so rest assured that 100% of your donation will go directly to the drivers and staff.)
